SHAP – Sustainable Home Access Program
(Programa de Acceso a Viviendas Sostenibles)

Sponsored by Waters Meet
SHAP helps individuals and families in our community who are struggling to keep up with essential utility bills including water, electricity, sewer, garbage, and internet.
We know many of our neighbors face tough choices every month, often between paying for basic utilities or putting food on the table. SHAP is here to ease that burden and help prevent utility shut-offs, late fees, and reconnection charges that can deepen financial hardship.
What SHAP Offers:
-
Support to avoid utility disconnections
-
Help covering past-due balances
-
Resources to stay safely housed and connected
This program is especially critical for households with children, seniors, or individuals with health conditions, where uninterrupted utilities are vital to safety and well-being.
Together, we’re working to build a more stable and resilient community, one home at a time.
The program will open December 1st, 2025 until funding lasts.
